The Yuanshan Viewing Platform (Yuanshan Guanhualtai) is the core location, situated in the middle of the flower sea. From here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view where the golden ribbons of flowers meet the green barley and the snowy mountains. For a more magnificent "God's eye view," the Daban Mountain Observation Deck (Dabanshan Guanjingtai) is unmissable. Located at the entrance to the Menyuan Basin at a high altitude, it offers a shocking panoramic view of the entire golden basin cradled by the mountains, especially spectacular during sunrise when the light hits the snow peaks and the mist floats over the gold. Additionally, the town of Qingshizui offers a unique perspective where Islamic-style mosques with moon-topped domes rise from the sea of flowers, blending cultural charm with natural beauty.

Every July, the local "Rape Flower Cultural Tourism Festival" turns the flower sea into a stage for horse racing, folk songs, and cultural displays. Geographically, this area is a vital ecological barrier and a historic stop on the Silk Road and the ancient Qiang migration route.
