This route combines natural scenery with rich historical culture. Jianmen Pass is one of China's most famous strategic passes with stunning cliff scenery. Zhaohua and Langzhong are among China's best-preserved ancient towns, offering authentic glimpses into traditional Chinese life. Road Conditions

Total distance 761km, a relatively short scenic route. The route includes highways, national roads, and some provincial/county roads. The terrain is mainly plains in the Sichuan Basin with some mountainous sections. Highway driving is straightforward; be cautious of fog in winter. National roads pass through villages - drive carefully. Highway service areas and gas stations are readily available. Recommended fuel: 92# gasoline.

Chengdu to Guangyuan via Jianmen Pass

Depart from Chengdu via G5 Jingkun Highway to Jiange County. Visit the legendary Jianmen Pass and Zhaohua Ancient City. Continue to Guangyuan for overnight stay. Total driving: ~290km.
