Can I drive all the way to the glacier?
You can drive to the parking area at the base. From there, you must hike or take a local transfer (if available) to reach the lakeside. The road is gravel and can be rough.
When is the best time to visit?
The best time is from May to October. July and September are relatively warm with green grasslands, though rain is possible. Winter (November to April) is extremely cold and roads may be blocked by snow.
